Access conditions: The Library occupies the ground floor and basement of 35 Tavistock Square, with reading rooms on the second and third floors. Reserve reference material is shelved in the Old Library (first floor of 31 Tavistock Square). The Library is open for reference purposes to all academic staff and postgraduate students of the University of London, and to all other bona fide researchers from outside the University. Undergraduate students are asked to provide a letter of introduction. Borrowing from the monograph collection is restricted to the Institute's staff and students.
