- Description: In 1994, the North West Film Archive commissioned a local Asian production company to document the experiences of the Asian communities living and working in the textile mill towns of Lancashire and Greater Manchester, and their diversification into other areas of employment, such as clothing manufacturing and restaurants.
Included are street scenes and footage of community centre activities, such as dance workshops, skills training, a luncheon club for the elderly, and classes for hearing impaired children.

Videotape copies may be borrowed at a nominal fee, or exemptions apply, e.g. when footage may be acquired. (Three weeks notice required.). Any usage beyond reference and research may require donor and/or copyright clearances. Preservation requirements may limit access.
