TUC Labour Magazine

Title: TUC Labour Magazine
Description: Printed for circulation to TUC members, 'Labour' included articles written by individual members on topics of interest and was also used by Information offices as a mouthpiece. This is particularly true of the TUC Colonial Bureau which from its establishment in 1953-4 ensured that coverage was given to Trade Union activities in the Colonies. Articles include a report on the Asian Trade Union College established in Britain to train trade unionists from Japan, India, Thailand, Pakistan etc circa 1953 and an item on a tour to the Caribbean for British young people funded by the South African Aid to Britain Fund. There are also articles on immigration.
