Scope and content: This series consists of registered papers of the Slave Trade Adviser to the Treasury. Down to 1863 the papers have been extensively weeded, but there are calendars in the series for papers numbered 1 to 10,000 covering the period 1821 to 1864.
Appraisal, destruction and scheduling information: The papers were extensively weeded down to 1863 in accordance with a Destruction Schedule of 3 May 1922.
