CONTENT AND STRUCTURE AREA
Scope and content: This series comprises of correspondence, reports and memoranda relating to the Western Atlantic seaboard, ranging from Labrador in the north to Central America in the south and embracing the West Indies, and including seven volumes of correspondence arising from the American Civil War. There is also an accumulation of correspondence, reports, conventions, regulations, etc., relating to the Newfoundland fisheries, 1871 to 1912.
